In the Scottish Borders there are many fine golf courses, but few will stand up to the quality and picturesque setting of Hirsel Golf Club. Our beautifully maintained golf course, relaxed atmosphere and friendly members make the Club environment welcoming to everyone.
Membership
We offer a number of membership options to suit golfers and potential golfers of all age ranges, skills and experience.
Each golf membership offers you year round access to the course, including the ability to play in all applicable competitions in our extensive fixture list. Players with more modest ambitions can simply enjoy their golf at leisure on a golf course designed to provide a fair test of golf at all levels.
In addition to a fantastic course, here at Hirsel Golf Club we also boast a friendly and welcoming Clubhouse, providing enjoyment for you, your family and friends.

The membership fees include the relevant Scottish Golf and Borders Golf Association annual affiliation fees (currently £17.50).

Benefits of being a member
- Unlimited access to the course giving you the opportunity to play whenever, and generally as often as you like, at the times to suit you
- Thriving Senior Gents, Ladies and Junior sections, all with a wide range of abilities
- Obtaining and maintaining a World Handicap System (WHS) handicap
- Playing competitive golf in our regular Club competitions
- Full use of the practice facilities that include a practice net, putting green and chipping area
- A reduced Green Fee rate of £15 for a member’s guests (up to 3 at a time). Also a reduced rate of £15 per round for the hire of the Club’s electric golf buggies
- An excellent restaurant serving everything from bar snacks to main meals and also a first class bar with a 10% discount on drinks
- A varied program of social events for members and their guests that typically include quiz, music and food (theme) nights
- A reciprocal green fee arrangement with preferential rates at local Northumberland clubs including Goswick, Alnwick, Seahouses and Magdalene Fields. Members are also entitled to reduced rates at most of our neighbouring clubs in the Scottish Borders
